Century Farms Awards Dinner 2021

With more than 70 applications received in 2019, the Committee made an unprecedented decision to hold two events in 2020. 

These events were deferred to 22 May and 29 May 2021 due to Covid.  

Each event attracted 200+ guests who were wined, dined and acknowledged for their significant achievement of being on their family farm for 100 years or more.   Minister Hon Damien O'Connor presented the awards in the first weekend and local MP Ingrid Leary in the second. Rowena Duncum was our fabulous MC for both weekends and ran another seamless, entertaining event.

Friday night’s event at the Tuapeka Vintage Club was another resounding success with families enjoying the chance to meet each other and enjoy a buffet meal in the surrounds of the historic machinery and artefacts.
